2025 Opportunities
Associate Members are encouraged to participate in all these events through submitting articles, sponsorship, speaking, and/or attending.
Board Meeting Sponsorship
This is a unique and affordable way to build your relationships with the bankers on CBW’s Board. You will have 20 minutes during the board meeting to discuss your product/service. In addition, you can join the board for dinner on the previous evening, and any other activities based on the location. This might be golf, wine tasting, brewery tours, late night cigars on the hotel patio, or whatever else they come up with. Sponsorship is $1,300 and you can send up to three people to the event. Available dates – April 18 in Vancouver WA, August 1 in Walla Walla WA, and November 7 in Snoqualmie WA.
Convention Sponsorship
The 2025 CBW Annual Convention & Trade Show is September 17-19 at the beautiful Historic Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA. This is your best chance to mingle with community bankers from all over Washington. Our typical attendees are community bank Officers, Directors, and other senior management. As a CBW Associate Member, your organization can sponsor the conference and participate in the trade show. The sponsor packages range from $1,800 (no booth) to $10,000. If you have a different budget or specific requests, we are happy to customize something for you.
Speaking Opportunities
CBW Virtual Conference Series
CBW will host 4 virtual conferences in 2025. CBW Virtual Conferences are open to everyone at the bank for one price binging in many bankers who rarely get to attend our live events. They have the added benefit of reaching deeper into each bank, connecting you with IT, compliance, lending, HR, credit, and accounting personnel in addition to the bank President and C-level bankers. Presentations are 45 minutes long including Q & A and must be educational rather than marketing for your product/service. Please submit your suggested title & brief description of your presentation if you are interested in this option. Only four speakers per session. Dates are April 29th, June 10, August 12, November 7.
Convention Speakers
We look for timely education topics and dynamic speakers. Sponsorship does not guarantee a speaking opportunity.
Currency Magazine Articles
Associate members are invited to submit an article for CBW’s online & print magazine, Currency. Articles should be 500-700 words and must be educational rather than promote a specific product or service. Deadline for the next issue is May 23rd for late June publication. There is no charge to submit an article. Articles are subject to approval by our marketing committee. Please let me know if you plan to submit an article for consideration.
CBW will continue to explore new ways to serve our bank members and associate members alike. We encourage you to contact us with your ideas and collaborate on getting your message out to the community bankers who need to hear what you have to say.
